CO-OP HOT SHOTS 2014

Singapore National Cooperative Federation (SNCF) and Jebat Photography Club as one of a supporting partner are holding an international photography contest. The theme of the photography center around co-operation, mutual-help, self-help, equality and caring for the community. The contest is slated to run from Jul to Sep 2014. There are SGD$6,000 cash prizes to be given away. The top overseas category winner can win SGD$800.

 
About Co-op Hot Shots
 
The objective of the contest is to reach out to youths and photography hobbyists in a fun and interesting way while letting them knowwhat are the 5 co-operative values i.e. co-operation, resilience, mutual help, equality, caring for the community. The target audience can be youths, hobbyists, amateurs, and professionals in Singapore and worldwide.
 

The photography contest is open to everyone. All they have to do is to take photos relating to the 5 themes and choose to take part in either the more casual ‘Online Fun’ or more professional ‘Open Print’ category. Winners for ‘Online Fun’ is based solely on public voting, while winners for ‘Open Print’ is based solely judges. For judges we have, Mr. Bernard Teo (Advisor, the SAFRA Photographic Club), Mr. Peter Chew (Asst. Chief Photographer, Lianhe Zaobao) and Mr. Felix Chew (NTU Photo-Videographic Society). $6,000 cash prizes will be given to winners.

Calling all shutterbugs, take pictures relating to any of the 5 themes: Co-operation, Self-help, Equality, Mutual Help, Care for Others and stand a chance to win $6,000 cash! Co-op Hot Shots is a photography contest that celebrates the Co-operative spirit in Singapore. The contest is open to residents, non-residents of Singapore and International participants.
 
Organised by the Singapore National Co-operative Federation, Co-op Hot Shots is back for the third year running. Photography enthusiast of all ages, nationality and experience are all invited to participate. You can either take part in the more casual Online Fun or more professional Open Print category. Winners of the Online Fun category are based solely on public voting, and winners of Open Print category are chosen by our guest Judges, Mr. Peter Chew, Mr. Felix Chew, Mr. Bernard Teo, and Ms. Dolly Goh.
